Next surplus food distribution on Aug. 20
MORRIS, Minn. -- The next surplus food distribution for area citizens is scheduled for Tuesday. Aug. 20 at the Morris Area High School beginning at 5:30 p.m. and finishing when the food is gone.
This event is organized by the Morris Area Schools and West Central Minnesota Communities Action.
The qualification for the program is simple -- if you eat, you are eligible.
The surplus food distribution is sponsored by West Central Minnesota Communities Action Agency, the Stevens County Food Shelf, Bremer Bank, the North Country Food Bank Dean Monson Trucking, Stevens Community Medical Center and the Morris Area Schools. This program is funded in part by the United States Department of Agriculture.
