Northwestern helps Cougar men win number 12

Despite no names in the scoring line for the University of Minnesota, Morris men's soccer team, the Cougars still found a way to pick up win number 12 on the year, defeating Northwestern 1-0.

The Cougars finish 11-3 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference and will host Northwestern on Tuesday morning at Cougar Field in the UMAC Semi Finals.

The Eagles out shot the Cougars 17-15, but Jacob Borash had a career-high 11 saves to earn the clean sheet on Saturday.

In the 21st minute the Cougars scored thanks to a deflection off the Eagles' defender that sent the ball into the net.

Momodou Jallow, Ebrima Badgie, and Devin Chuba each had a pair of shots on goal in the match.
