Ohren, Spaeth to co-chair Morris Chamber for 2013
Marty Ohren and Joan Spaeth will serve as co-chairs of the Morris Area Chamber of Commerce for 2013.
The pair was elected during the Chamber Board of Directors meeting on Feb. 14. Ohren is the manager of Thrifty White Drug and Spaeth works at Stevens Community Medical Center.
Other officers for 2013 are vice-chair Erin Christensen, from the University of Minnesota, Morris. Wayne Morford, from the RFC, will serve as executive member and Karen Berget of American Eagle Realty is the past chair.
Other members of the Chamber's board of directors are: Bob Kopitzke, Stevens County Commissioner Representative; Tim Esterling, Westmor/Superior Industries; Diane Anspach, Bremer Bank; Sonia Meyer, Sonia’s Hair Clinic; Patty Kill, Riverwood Bank; Donna Eul, Federated Telephone; Brady Rose, United American Agency; Jon Pew, Design Electronics Radio Shack; Kevin Wohlers, Morris City council Representative.
Rhoda Smith is the Administrative Director and Carolyn Peterson is the Membership/Tourism Director.
