From One Season To The Next ... Quickly!
Rain quickly gave way to large, wet snowflakes Thursday, and the seasons changed from autumn to "Aw, no!" when many drivers realized they had yet to throw the snow brush back into the car for the winter. The West Central Research and Outreach Center reported that the area received a record 1.7 inches of rain on Thursday -- the previous mark of 0.7 inches was recorded in 2000 -- and then another 3.4 inches of snow was piled on top of that.
