There will be an open house send-off party for Ben Hacker, Sunday, Sept. 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Lowell and Jayne Hacker home, 538 3rd St., Hancock. Ben will begin deployment to serve our country. s36

There will be an open house baby shower for Cason Louis, son of Mandy (Greiner) and Eric Rice, on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9-11 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Hancock. They are registered at Target or gifts can be made out to Edward Jones, c/o Cason Rice, for college fund. Cason is the grandson of Don and Michele Greiner of Hancock and Brian and Susan Rice of Roseau. advs37
