There will be an open house baby shower for Cason Louis, son of Mandy (Greiner) and Eric Rice, on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9-11 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Hancock. They are registered at Target or gifts can be made out to Edward Jones, c/o Cason Rice, for college fund. Cason is the grandson of Don and Michele Greiner of Hancock and Brian and Susan Rice of Roseau. advs37

There will be an open house bridal shower in honor of Emily Flannigan, daughter of Ron and ArLou Flannigan and bride-to-be of Jeff Odell, Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9-11 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Chokio. The couple is registered at Wall Mart and Kohl's. s37
