Owl boys fall to Wheaton at home

The Hancock boys lost to a strong Wheaton team 79-59 on Feb. 23 at home.

The Owls shot 36 percent from the field and trailed 36-22 at halftime. They couldn't recover in the second half.

Brendon Foss scored a game-high 28 points and also collected 12 rebounds for Hancock. Also scoring for the Owls was Bryan Shaw with 8, Cory Schroeder with 6, Dylan Reese with 7, Michellis Algarate 4, Drew Schmidgall 6. Three-point shots were made by Foss - 3, Shaw - 1, Reese - 1 and Schmidgall - 1.

Dylan Reese led in assists with 5 and Cory Schroeder was the steal leader with 3.
