APPLETON - Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary has family ties to Minnesota and will be featured on Pioneer Public Television's weekly program Postcards Sunday, July 1 at 7:00 p.m.

"Yarrow's generous character shines in this episode of Postcards through his strong connection with his family and the local community. It was an honor to join the Yarrows on tour and in their Willmar home to get a first-hand look at the their vast experience in the music and political world. This is a story about music, family and the inspiration of western Minnesota," said Dana Johnson, executive producer.

Yarrow takes Pioneer on a "magical" journey with a sneak peek at their unique Rochester concert, where son Christopher joins him on tour, and experience a one-of-a-kind performance of the hit Puff the Magic Dragon. The family shares their love of music, including performing on stage as a family, and strong connections to western Minnesota.

Postcards is a weekly program featuring the art, history and cultural heritage of western Minnesota and beyond.
