Soups and stews taste so good this time of the year, with the cold, snowy weather. Nothing like staying indoors and making a big kettle full and sharing it. The following recipes are all from local cookbooks, so we know they HAVE to be good!
Cream of Broccoli Soup
1/4 C. chopped onion
2 T. butter
1 (10 oz.) pkg. Green Giant Broccoli with Cheese Sauce
1 can chicken broth
1 C. half and half
1 C. milk
2 T. flour
