With all the veggies out there this time of year, I thought I'd concentrate on them this week; some frozen vegetables could be used, also.


Tangy Tomato Slices

6 tomatoes, thinly sliced

1 onion, thinly sliced

1 C. oil

1/3 C. vinegar

1/4 C. fresh parsley, chopped

3 T. fresh basil, chopped

1 T. sugar

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

1/2 tsp. dry mustard

1/2 tsp. garlic powder
