Last week, I featured some "little devil" recipes, so I think it only fair that angels should have equal time or more, too. I found some that you may like to try. I thought these sounded very good - and easy.
Pineapple Angel Food Cake
1 pkg. angel food cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, with juice
1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with vegetable oil. In a large bowl, combine cake mix and pineapple (with juice). Mix until well blended. Pour batter into pan; bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool. Serve with whipped topping.
Peach Angel Food Cake
1 pkg. angel food cake mix
1 (15 oz.) can diced peaches
In a large bowl, combine cake mix and peaches and juice; do not add water. Mix well. Pour into tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Bake according to directions on cake package. If desired, serve with whipped topping.

Dreamy Angel Hair Pasta
16 oz. sour cream
2 eggs, beaten
1 T. dill weed
1/2 C. grated Parmesan cheese
2 (6 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms
salt and pepper to taste
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. angel hair pasta
In a medium bowl, whisk sour cream, eggs, dill and cheese; add mushrooms; salt and pepper to taste. Mix and set aside. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes or until al dente; drain and return to pot. Over medium heat, pour sour cream mixture into pot with pasta until sauce begins to boil; stir frequently for about 3 minutes or until sauce begins to bubble. Be careful to not overcook the sauce or it will be sticky. Remove from heat; serve immediately.
Shrimp Alfredo Pasta
1 (16 oz.) jar Alfredo sauce
1 (16 oz.) pkg. angel hair pasta
2 lbs. fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 C. butter, melted
1/2 small green pepper, diced
1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
In a saucepan over low-temperature, heat the Alfredo sauce. Bring large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 minutes or until al dente; drain. Boil shrimp in a large pot of water until they turn orange. Then, place in bowl with melted butter. Let shrimp marinate for 15-30 minutes; remove. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the green pepper and onion in a small amount of oil. Mix together the cooked pasta, shrimp, pepper-onion mixture and Alfredo sauce. Season with garlic powder and cumin.
Idiot #2, 2009
Seems this guy wanted some beer pretty badly. He decided that he'd just throw a cinder block through the liquor store window, grab some booze, and run. So, he lifted the cinder block and heaved it over his head at the window. The cinder block bounced back, knocking him unconscious. It seems the liquor store window was made of Plexi-Glass. The whole event was caught on videotape.
They walk among us, and they probably always will.
