I've come across these recipes from various church cookbooks, and they all look great to me, and they're ready to eat in about 30-35 minutes- my kind of food! The next couple of weeks, I'll try to concentrate on Christmas recipes.
Country Fried Steak with Milk Gravy
4 (4 oz.) cube steaks
1/2 tsp. salt, divided
1 3/4 tsps. black pepper, divided
1 C. flour
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 C. lard (I haven't bought lard for years)
1 C. milk
