Porter

Ron and Judy Porter will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 1. They were married Sept. 1, 1962, at Hosanna Lutheran Church in St Paul by Judy’s father, the pastor at that church at the time. He had also been the pastor at First Lutheran Church in Bemidji.
Ron and Judy raised their family in Rochester and then retired to their lake home in Bemidji in 2001.
Their three children will host the anniversary open house in their honor from 1-3 p.m. Sept. 2 at First Lutheran Church in Bemidji. Everyone is welcome to join them to celebrate their 50 years together.
The family requests no gifts.
