Postcards program to highlight LTD ride

Pioneer Public Television's popular Postcards series continues on Sunday, Dec. 23 with an episode about two emotional motorcycle rides through our local area to honor fallen soldiers.

The program will follow the annual LTD Motorcycle Ride, which honors Sgt. Jesse Lhotka, 1st Lt. Jason Timmerman and Staff Sgt. David Day, who died in Iraq on Feb. 21, 2005.

Other highlights are country music artist Rocky Lynne's production of "Songs for Soldiers" and a conversation with him about Tribute to the Troops, which got its start in Minnesota.

This is the second episode in season four of Postcards. The series airs on Sundays at 7 p.m. with rebroadcasts on Monday at 1:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 7 p.m. on Pioneer Public TV.
