Prairie Pioneer Days off to a 'browsing' start
It was a subdued beginning to a Prairie Pioneer Days weekend that includes a day-long rock music festival, fireworks and the Grand Parade, but the annual Morris Public Library Book Sale drew a steady crowd of browsers and buyers Friday morning. The Book Sale continues Saturday, and other events at the library include the presentation of a print to the library by Victor Perlbachs, who featured the Morris elevator in a recent watercolor painting. The presentation is at 11 a.m. Saturday.
