With the win and Yellow Medicine East's loss to Benson, Morris finishes alone in second. Paynesville clinched the crown on Monday.

The game was scoreless after four innings. The Tigers then got a pinch-hit single by Mitch Kill to start the fifth, followed by a walk to Cole Riley, also pinch-hitting. Trent Hansen walked to load the bases and Beyer ripped a single past short to score Kill and Riley.

The Eagles got one run back in the sixth on a walk, a double by Eric Paulson and a ground out. With the tying run on third, Eric Riley got a strikeout to end the threat.

Riley got the win with three innings of two-hit relief. Tyler Hansen pitched the first four innings, allowing two hits and no runs.

Eagles starter Sam Haas and Blaine Tostenson combined on a three hitter. The loss went to Haas, who threw the first 4Zc innings.
