Prep Softball: Tigers' successful season comes to end
MARSHALL -- Morris/Chokio-Alberta's successful season came to an end on Tuesday when the Tigers fell to Pipestone for the second time in five days.
Pipestone broke up a tie game with four runs in the fourth inning and eliminated MCA 14-3 in the Section 3AA playoffs.
MCA ended the season 17-5 overall.
Steph Hennen, Tracy Meichsner, McKenzie Van Batavia, Holly Amundson, Olivia Reimers and Megan Mecklenburg had the Tigers' hits.
