Railroad work scheduled near Glenwood Friday

Railroad repairs are scheduled to take place on Highway 29 north of Glenwood this Friday, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).

The work will start at 9 a.m. and continue until about 3 p.m.

Northbound traffic will be shifted onto the left southbound lane at the crossing, causing two-way, two-lane traffic on the southbound lanes.

Railroad crews will repair a rail over the northbound lanes.

MnDOT urges motorists to drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
