Reese medals in Section 5A swimming

Senior Roy Reese placed seventh in the 200 yard freestyle at the Section 5A swimming and diving meet, held Feb. 22-23 in Bemidji.

Reese had a personal best time of 1:55.77.

Kris Aaseng of Alexandria placed first in the event with a time of 1:47.24.

Reese also placed ninth in the 500 free, with a time 5:30.84.

Reese was one of four Tiger swimmers to participate in the Section meet, and the only swimmer to compete in the finals.
