Regional economic development strategy available for public review/comment

The 2012 update to the regional 2011-2016 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), which is compiled by West Central Initiative for nine counties in west central Minnesota, is available for public review and comment from Friday, May 25 to Monday, June 25, 2012. The CEDS is submitted to the Economic Development Administration (EDA) and covers the counties of Becker, Clay, Grant, Douglas, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse and Wilkin. The document incorporates demographic data and analysis, and goals and objectives pertaining to the region, plus economic development projects seeking EDA funding.

West Central Initiative is a regional community foundation serving the nine west central Minnesota counties of Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse and Wilkin.
