Morris Area took back some momentum at the end of the first half against Montevideo, which led to a 34-20 victory Tuesday in West Central South Conference football action.
The Tigers scored a touchdown on a 38-yard pass play from Ryan Beyer to Tyler Hansen with four seconds left in the first half for a 25-7 lead. The Thunder Hawks had scored with 49 seconds left on a Mitch Christensen 12-yard run.
Eric Riley rushed for 89 yards and Beyer passed for 177 yards and three touchdowns for Morris.
Logan Ackerman rushed for 181 yards to pace Montevideo. Troy Hendrickson passed for 120 yards.
Both teams finish the regular season 4-3 in the conference and 5-3 overall.
