Resource Connections Expo draws well
The first-annual Resource Connections Expo drew steady crowds Thursday as more than 50 area non-profit organizations exhibited information about their missions and service opportunities.
The expo was part of a continuing effort to give greater exposure to people who work in the non-profit sector and how the public can use their resources or find an outlet for volunteer work.
Many of the organizations met for a non-profit "summit" last year, with about 80 people gathering to share ideas and decide on priorities. The expo is the first of these priorities.
