Morris Area senior Eric Riley has committed to play for the Northern State University football program. Riley is one of 27 players that have committed to play for the Wolves during the 2011 season.
"We are very excited about the new additions to the NSU football family," said Northern State head coach Tom Dosch. "The overall athleticism of the group jumps out at me, as many of our signees are multi-sport athletes. We are committed to recruiting the best student athletes from the immediate area, and that is reflected in our signing class. Overall, we addressed immediate needs with transfers at several positions, and we built depth at all positions. In addition, half of our signees received academic scholarships from NSU, which shows the commitment we are making to having the best student-athletes possible in our program."
Eric Riley, is a 6'1, 200 lb linebacker from Morris Area.

He also earned All-Conference honors last season in baseball and has been a four-year letterwinner for both baseball and basketball for the Tigers.
