Roger was born May 11, 1962, son of Donald and Jeanne (Morinville) Dufault.  Raised in Columbia Heights, Roger graduated in 1980 from Columbia Heights Senior High, going on to earn a degree in Architectural Drafting at North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park.  In 1995 Roger and Jennifer (Holter) united in marriage at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church Columbia Heights.

Roger was a Project Manager and General Manager in the architectural millwork and wood products industry.  In 1994 Roger started work at Aaron Carlson Corporation, Minneapolis, and was named General Manager of Aaron Carlson Woodwork, LLC, Morris in 1998.  In 1999 he and his family relocated to Morris after the birth of their second son, Mitchell.

Family and friends were an important part of Roger's life.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter and supporter of Ducks Unlimited.  He bought an unassuming piece of land, built a shelter, and affectionately called the place The Shack.  A place for the kids and guys to shoot, hunt, enjoy nature and just generally get away to relax.

Roger donated his time and talents to benefit the community.  He was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, the Morris Hockey Association and a contributor to various community fundraisers.  Roger was first on the list to help with his sons' baseball and hockey teams.  He was well known for his sense of humor, keen wit and tireless work ethic.

Roger is deeply missed by his loving wife Jennifer, sons Joseph and Mitchell, mom Jeanne of St. Anthony, siblings Linda Boss (Jim) Price of St. Paul and Allen (Leslie) of Cape Coral Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his dad Donald.
