The families of Anita Monroe Rundquist and James Robert Stoker are pleased to announce their engagement. A former resident of Morris and Donnelly, Anita is the daughter of Walter A. (dec.) and Irene Monroe and served as ministry worker at First Lutheran Church in Morris from 1995-2005. She has three sons and daughters-in-law living in the midwest; Erik (Rachel) Rundquist, Jonathan (Tiffany) Rundquist, and William (Maylin-Janet) Rundquist and three grandchildren. James Robert Stoker is the son of James W. (dec.) and Carolyn Stoker of La Cañada Flintridge, Calif. He has three daughters; Sylvia, Rebecca, and Sarah Stoker – all of California. A data network engineer at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), James is also an amateur radio operator (callsign AG6EF) and section emergency coordinator for the Los Angeles section of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES). Anita is employed as middle school administrative coordinator and language arts specialist at First Lutheran School in Glendale, Calif. A July 13, 2013 wedding is planned at First Lutheran Church in Morris, Minn. The couple will reside in La Cañada Flintridge, Calif.
