Dani Schultz of the Morris Benson Area girls' hockey team scored the 100th goal of her career in the Storm's 3-1 win over No. 15 Alexandria in Morris Saturday.
Schultz, who became the program's leading scorer -- boys' and girls' -- in the Storm's season-opening win last week against Redwood Valley, had two goals and an assist. Her final point was from a short-handed, empty net goal with six seconds left in the game to reach the career milestone.
Schultz picked up an assist on Sam Falk's goal in the second period to tie the game 1-1. She scored her first goal of the game about one minute later on assists from Falk and Kelly Mahoney, taking advantage of an Alexandria penalty.
But if weren't for goalie Brooke Falk, the Storm wouldn't have been close to winning. She picked up 51 saves, including 22 in the first period and 18 in the third, while the Storm was held to 19 shots on goal.
