Second-annual Asking the Big Questions bookclub Sept. 17

The community is invited to participate in the second annual discussion of the Asking the Big Questions book club hosted by the University of Minnesota, Morris Rodney A. Briggs Library on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m.

The Asking the Big Questions book club discusses significant issues that affect our world and our community, and explores who we are as human beings. In its inaugural year, the club explored the topic of sustainability and climate change. This year, Asking the Big Questions will discuss a variety of women's and feminine topics of interest and the role biology plays in gender.

Social time--featuring light food and drink--begins at 6 p.m. in the McGinnis Room located in the lower level of Briggs Library on the Morris campus. Discussion begins at 6:30 p.m.

Asking the Big Questions meets the third Thursday in Sept. 2009, Oct. 2009, Nov. 2009, Feb. 2010, Mar. 2010 and April 2010. Everyone is welcome to attend.
