Here's a rundown of Saturday's section playoff games:

Section 6AAA

Morris/Chokio-Alberta (9-0) defeated Albany (5-5) 33-14 to advance to the section championship game on Friday against New London-Spicer. The Wildcats (6-4) defeated Litchfield (4-6) 19-6 on Saturday in New London.

The Tigers and Wildcats play at 5:45 p.m. Friday at St. Cloud State University.

Section 5AA

The 9-0 BOLD Warriors needed Nick Kubesh's 25-yard field goal on the final play of the game to stave off upset-minded Benson 23-20 in the Section 5AA semifinals Saturday.

Kubesh's kick subdued Benson (4-6) and kept BOLD (9-0) on track for a meeting with red-hot Minnewaska in Friday's section championship game at 7 p.m. at the University of Minnesota, Morris.

Minnewaska (6-4) won its sixth-straight game, 28-14, over Paynesville (5-5) Saturday in Glenwood.

Section 5A

Top-seed ACGC (7-2) kept thundering along with a 54-14 win over KMS (4-6) in the section semifinals in Grove City.

BBE (6-4), the section No. 3 seed, knocked off second-seed Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity (8-2) 15-3 on the road.

ACGC and BBE will meet for the section crown at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at St. Cloud State.

Section 4A

Defending Class A state champion Dawson-Boyd (9-1) will once against meet Minneota (9-1) in the section championship game after both scored victories on Saturday.

The Blackjacks overcame several injuries to key players and six turnovers to defeat Canby (6-4) 23-7 in Dawson. Minneota clubbed Wabasso 48-6. The top two section seeds meet for the title at 5 p.m. Friday at Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall.
