Snow and extreme wind arrive in Minnesota
MORRIS -- Winter weather arrived in west central Minnesota in force, with several inches of snow and strong winds creating blizzard-like conditions this week.
The West Central Research and Outreach Center recorded 3.1 inches of snowfall in Morris from Dec. 2 through Dec. 5.
The National Weather Service issued a wind chill advisory that will continue until noon on Saturday. The advisory warns that wind chill readings will range from 25 below to 35 below.
