Softball: Tigers down Warriors on the road

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta outhit the home team 11-4 for a 10-4 win over the BOLD Warriors on Thursday in West Central South softball.

Holly Amundson and Tracy Meichsner of spanked two hits apiece and winning pitcher McKenzie Van Batavia drove in three runs.

VanBatavia walked four and fanned five in her four-hitter.

Robin Lubitz took the loss.

Taylor Ebnet had a pair of hits for BOLD.
