Sonshine Music Festival to be featured on Postcards Jan. 27

Pioneer Public Television is proud to premiere the next episode of Postcards on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 7:00 p.m. with "History of Sonshine Music Festival".

This episode chronicles over 30 years of the Sonshine Music Festival, held annually in Willmar, Minnesota. We'll talk with the original founders about the challenges and surprises throughout the years at Sonshine, which has become one of the most popular Christian music festivals in the nation. Then we'll hear from the volunteers, bands, and people that still flock to this family-friendly festival every summer.

This new episode of Postcards airs on Sunday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m., with rebroadcasts on Monday at 1:30 p.m. and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. on Pioneer.

The twenty local productions of Postcards at Pioneer Public Television capture the stories about Minnesota art, history and cultural heritage, with funding provided by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Pioneer Public Television is a viewer supported educational television station covering more than 45 rural counties in western Minnesota, northwestern Iowa, and eastern South Dakota.
