Storm boys can't stop Luverne's comeback

Cody Christensen's power-play goal six minutes into the third period capped Luverne's comeback from two goals down in a 3-2 Southwest Conference win over Morris Benson Area on Saturday.


Luke Schwarz and Kelly Engquist scored the game's first two goals, but Luverne's defense shut down the Storm attack after that.

Luverne goalie Kendall Meyer made 28 saves, and Austin Maxwell and Skyler Wennington scored goals.

Matt Huot made 34 saves for the Storm.
