Tanner Picht scored four goals and Kelly Engquist had four assists to help Morris Benson Area defeat Worthington 11-3 in Southwest Conference boys' hockey Saturday.

Worthington took an early 1-0 lead, before the Mac Beyer got the Storm on the board with assists from Engquist and Picht. Picht then scored two goals, both on assists from Engquist and Beyer, to put the Storm up 3-1 after one period of play.

The Storm added another three goals in the second period. Picht recorded a hat trick with the first goal of the period, before Worthington answered with one of their own. Then Engquist and Picht scored just over a minute apart to take a 6-2 Storm advantage.

The Storm scored five times in the third period on goals from Darion Helberg, Luke Schwarz, Brody Gimberlin, Jordan Staples, and Taner Gimberlin.

Paden Strutz was credited with 18 saves and the Worthington goalie had 31 saves.
