
Storm boys fall to Bearcats in Hallock
The Morris Benson Area boys' hockey team traveled to Hallock Saturday where they suffered a disappointing 10-4 loss to Kittson Central.
Four different players scored for the Storm.
Kittson Central took a 2-0 lead early in the first period, but Tanner Picht and Jordan Staples answered by scoring a minute and a half apart to tie it up 2-2. The Bearcats added another goal to take a 3-2 lead into the first break.
The Bearcats scored five straight in under six minutes to take a commanding 8-2 lead in the second period. Mac Beyer and Riley Blake then traded goals with Kittson Central for the final 10-4 deficit.
Austin Crow and Kyle Kennedy shared duties in the net.
