Morris Benson Area traveled to Marshall Tuesday where the Storm suffered a 6-3 loss in Southwest Conference action.

Taner Gimberlin got the first goal of the game off assists from Corey Storck and Jordan Staples. Marshall quickly answered and then went up 2-1 in the first period.

Marshall added two goals in the second while holding the Storm scoreless despite three power-play opportunities.

Mac Beyer scored two goals in the third period, one unassisted and the other on a power play with assists from Kelly Engquist and Staples.

Marshall answered both to keep a three-goal advantage.

Matt Huot had 21 saves for the Storm.
