Storm boys win third straight

Morris Benson Area avenged two losses to Prairie Centre with a 2-1 victory on the road Thursday.

After a scoreless first period, two goals, from Tanner Picht with an assist from Tanner Mikkelson and Luke Schwarz assisted by Kelly Engquist, in the second period gave the Storm a 2-0 lead.

Prairie Centre got one past Storm goalie Matt Huot in the third period.

The North Stars out shot the Storm 44-23, but Huot stopped 43 in the Storm net.
