Storm girls fall to Alexandria

Abby Daly put the Morris Benson Area girls up 1-0 in the first period, but the Cardinals took the lead for good in the second to defeat the Storm 4-2 in Alexandria Tuesday.

The Cardinals scored three times in the second period.

Dani Schultz added a goal for the Storm in the third, but Alexandria's Cali Kragenbring scored unassisted for a hat trick and the final 4-2 lead.

Alexandria outshot the Storm 57-14. Brooke Falk made 53 saves in the MBA net.
