Storm girls fall at Little Falls

The Morris Benson Area girls' hockey team suffered a 10-2 road loss to the newly paired Brainerd/Little Falls team Thursday.

Brainerd took a 4-0 lead in the first period.

Early in the second period, the Storm finally got on the board when Sam Falk scored off an assist from Sara Rajewsky to make it 5-1.

After three more Brainerd goals, the Storm's Dani Schultz netted an unassisted goal at 14:03.

The Storm held Brainerd to only two goals in the final period.

Brooke Falk had 27 saves in the Storm net.

Brainerd's goalie stopped 11 pucks.

This Saturday the Storm host Luverne in Morris. The puck drops at 1 p.m.
