Storm improves to 3-0

Brooke Falk and the Morris Benson Area girls' hockey team posted another shutout Tuesday as the Storm, jolted by Dani Schultz's seven points, blanked Pequot Lakes 9-0 in a non-conference game.

The Storm, now 3-0, have outscored their opponents 28-1 this season.

Falk turned back all 20 shots Pequot Lakes (0-5) fired at her.

Schultz netted the game's first two goals and the final three in the four-goal second period for MBA. Sara Rajewsky had two goals, while Brooke Anderson and Sam Falk scored one apiece. Schultz, Monica Lindblad and Kelly Mahoney each had two assists.
