Student Accomplishments 7-27-13
Natalie Johnson of Morris and Lauren Nelson of Hancock were named to the 2013 spring semester dean's list at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Johnson is a student in the university's College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Resource Science and Nelson is a student in the university’s medical school. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.66 grade point average.
Several students from the area were named to the dean’s list at Alexandria Technical and Community College for the spring 2013 semester. Diana Brummond of Morris is enrolled in the accounting program; Tyler McNally of Morris is enrolled in the mechatronics program; Amy Goette of Chokio is enrolled in the liberal arts and sciences program; Sarah Green of Chokio is enrolled in the medical administrative specialist program; and Ashley Zidarich of Cyrus is enrolled in the accounting and marketing programs. Students named to the dean’s list have a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the semester.
