Summer Center Day at the WCROC

MORRIS - Summer Center Day was held Friday at the West Central Research and Outreach Center.

One of this year's tours focused on Tiling and Bioreactor Construction and Effectiveness. Wulf Tiling discussed and demonstrated tiling, while Andry Ranaivoson, UM-St. Paul, and Mark Dittrich, MN Department of Ag, presented findings on woodchip bioreactor research.

The tour included viewing of a bioreactor that is currently under construction.

The other tours included Precision Planting and Variable Fertilizer Application and Conventional Soybean Weed Management, Organic Corn Weed Management,and Glyphosate Resistant Weed Scouting.
