Summer reading program begins June 8 at Morris Public Library
Readers of all ages are invited to "Be Creative @ Your Library" this summer and explore the worlds of music, dance, art, books and more.
The 2009 Summer Reading program at the Morris Public Library is open to young people, preschool through teens with programs, prize drawings, story time, and more. Registration for the reading incentives begins the week of June 8th.
Special events this summer include "The Zoo Man" on Thursday, June 25 at 10:30 a.m. This is sponsored by the Morris Friends of the Library. On Tuesday, July 7th, at 1:30 p.m. the Viking Library System is sponsoring "Ventriloquist James Wedgewood". Our final special event will be held on Thursday, August 13, 10:30 a.m. and features the "Brodini Magic Show".
Storytime for all ages will continue to be held throughout the summer with special guest readers each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. No registration is required for the special events and storytime.
Lunch Bunch will be offered for children who have completed kindergarten through 3rd grade on Wednesdays June 10, 17, 24 and July 1 at Noon each day. Please pre-register for lunch bunch.

The Morris Public Library is located at 102 East 6th Street. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and closed on Sunday.
