Morris Minnesota 607 Pacific Avenue 56267

"Support Deputy Dewey" T-shirts are now being sold as a fund-raiser for the wounded Mahnomen County officer.

On February 18, Christopher Dewey took bullets to both the head and abdomen while on duty. Dewey was airlifted from Mahnomen Hospital to MeritCare in Fargo, where he underwent brain surgery.

He was transported by air ambulance in early March to Colorado's Craig Hospital, which specializes in rehabilitating patients with serious brain and spinal injuries, and is currently in physical therapy there.

The shirts can be bought at Hornet Country Sportswear Store in Big Lake, Minn., or online at www.hornetcountryspiritwear.com/dewey.html.

They are $15 each plus shipping costs. All funds raised will proceed directly to the Dewey family for its continued financial needs.

For updates on Dewey's condition and progress, visit his CaringBridge site, www.caringbridge.org/visit/chrisdewey.
