Suspicious Fire

The Hancock Fire Department was called to a fire at the District 45 Dairy early Friday morning.

A large stack of straw bales was on fire with the cause being termed as suspicious in nature. The bales were allowed to burn and the fire department was called out a second time on Friday afternoon. There was an estimated $50,000 in damage due to the loss of the bales.

At this point the fire is being investigated as a possible arson. If anyone has any information on the fire they should call the Stevens County Sheriff's Office.
