Thank you, Stevens County
With your awesome help, the postal employees in Stevens County had a very successful food drive. Our personal goal this year was 2,000 pounds (or one ton) of food. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to collect 1,777 pounds of food along with $575 in cash donations, which we count as a dollar per pound, for a total of 2,352 pounds.
This would not have been possible without the giving spirit of our postal customers, and also our business friends that got the word out about our food drive – the U.S. Postal Service, Willie’s Super Valu, Jerry’s U-Save, Dakotah Bank, Prairie Ridge Medical, University of Minnesota Morris, Morris Sun Tribune, Hancock Record, Chokio Review and KMRS/KKOK Radio.
Without the help of these businesses and our postal customers, we would not have been able to do our part to Stamp Out Hunger.
