Is there anybody out there?

The Morris Area High School theatre department seeks the answer in this year's varsity one act production of "4 A.M." Teen characters are awake searching for some sort of connection when the rest of the world is asleep in this dark comedy. Through a series of scenes and monologues, join the characters on their journey as they discover whether the monster under the bed is real and collectively wonder 'is there anybody out there?' The varsity one act cast will present "4 A.M." by Jonathan Dorf and the junior varsity one act cast will present "The Cinderella Chronicles" by Susan M. Steadman, a family-friendly retelling of the classic Cinderella story. The junior varsity performs at 7:30 p.m., followed by the varsity performance, on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 24 and 25 in the Morris Area High School auditorium. The Sub-Section One Act competition will be held in Morris on Saturday, Jan. 26. Section contests will be held Saturday, Feb. 2 in Sauk Centre.
