Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta improved to 14-7 overall with a 71-35 win at Ortonville, Friday, Feb. 8.

“The Tigers really got off to a quick start, using our speed to get out and make some easy layups,” said coach Dale Henrich. “We rebounded better and made some good outlet passes to keep the run going.

“We had 21 steals, led by Beth Holland with 10, and we only had nine total turnovers.”

Katie Holzheimer led a trio of Tigers in double-digit scoring with 22. MaKenzie Smith added 15 and led with four assists. Beth Holland had 12 points.

Nicole Strobel and Abbie Olson led the Tigers on the boards, grabbing five rebounds apiece.
