Three Morris Area football players were named to the West Central Tribune's All-Area Football team.
Senior offensive lineman Jonathan Jallo was named to the team. Jallo helped the Tigers record their first 1,000-yard running back in several season with his excellent blocking techniques. On defense, Jallo recorded 40 tackles, including two for losses and one sack.
Two Tiger linebackers were named to the defensive team.
Junior Eric Riley recorded 90 tackles, including nine for losses, along with two fumble recoveries and two interceptions. As a fullback, he ran for 438 yards, averaging 5.6 yards per carry and scored four touchdowns. He caught 10 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns. He also completed four of seven passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns.
Junior Cody Hickman led the Tigers' defense with 50 unassisted and 94 assisted tackles. He averaged 14.4 tackles per game. Seven tackles resulted in a loss. He also recorded two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and a blocked punt.
