The Morris Area boys participated as the "Wild Card" in the State True Team Track and Field Championship at Stillwater High School May 16.
Of nine teams competing, the Tigers placed seventh with 280 points. St. Croix Lutheran won the meet with a score of 454.
Taylor Nohl was first to cross the finish line in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.61 seconds.
Jackson Henrich also took first place in the discus throw with a distance of 157 feet, 11 inches.
Cody Cannon placed third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.2 seconds.
Lincoln Arnold placed third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.11 seconds.
The 4X200 relay team of Steve Sarlette, Corey Nohl, Matt Wulf, and Ross Larson placed third with a time of 1:39.61.
Cannon took fourth place in two events with a time of 43.5 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles and a distance of 40 feet, 3.25 inches in the triple jump.
Henrich placed fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 40-2.5.
Cannon placed fifth in the pole vault with a height of 11-6.
Corey Nohl tied for fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.62.
Josh Love took fifth place in the shot put with a throw of 44 feet.
Henrich placed sixth in the shot put with a 41-11.25.
Corey Nohl finished seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.9.
Wulf placed eighth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:11.81.
Arnold took eighth place in the long jump with a 19-10.
The 4X100 relay team of Sarlette, Eric Goette, Larson, and Ed Ellson placed eighth with a time of 50.03.
Goette placed ninth in the pole vault with an 11-0.
The 4X800 relay team of Nate Fangmeier, Roy Reese, Jordan Thooft, and Austin Schieler placed ninth with a time of 9:56.11.
Also competing at the true team meet was Tristan Michealson with a time of 17.77 in the 110-meter hurdles and a 48.3 in the 300-meter hurdles.
Michael Michaelson completed the 3200-meter in 13:16.
