Tiger boys down the Warriors in conference play

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta utilized a balanced scoring attack and limited BOLD to 38-percent shooting from the field en route to a 62-49 win in a West Central Conference South boys' basketball game Tuesday.

The Tigers improved to 6-2 ovarall and are now 2-1 in the conference. They outscored the visitors 39-30 in the second half after maintaining a slim 23-19 lead at halftime.

Tyler Roske had 12 points and Alex Erickson added another 11 to pace a the Tigers. Five other players had at least six points.

Kyle Athmann led BOLD with 16 points. The Warriors outrebounded the Tigers 33-26, but Morris/C-A was a little better at making its shots.
